Description
At Mad Science of Houston, we cultivate self-driven learners during the critical early years when curiosity is at its peak.
Our TEKS-aligned curriculum supports STAAR readiness by replacing traditional lectures with 4–8 high-energy, hands-on, fun experiments in every class. We offer up to 16 rotating topics each semester, allowing students to enjoy two full years of discovery without repetition.
Students don't just watch—they actively explore chemistry, physics, and engineering through exciting activities like launching rockets, mixing polymers, and building simple machines. By encouraging inquiry and treating mistakes as valuable learning opportunities, we help students build confidence, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong love of learning. Every class also includes a themed take-home project, so the excitement of discovery continues at home.
See below for additional class descriptions. Please note that topics may be taught in a different order.
