Mad Science of Houston has been teaching children to learn to love science for over 30 years! Our goal is to entertain and educate with a range of different science topics. Children can learn about engineering, astronomy, biology, geology and so much more. With class like Science of Magic, Science of Toys, Magnetic Magic, Energy Burst, Sonic Sounds and Slime Time, we make science relatable and FUN!

All About Our After-School Programs!
Designed for preschool (ages 3-5) and school age (ages 6-12).
1 visit per week: Preschool - 30-45 minutes and School Age - 1 hour long.
A different topic every week covering a wide range of subjects from engineering and physics to chemistry and biology
Educational science-themed take-home project in every class so they can continue to learn and have fun

The After-School Program Experience

Mad Science of Houston has over 7 different systems, each having 8 classes in them. Your Jr. Scientist can take our program for a full 2 years without repeating any science topics! Science is EVERYWHERE and we make sure children realize this by the variety of themes we have. Every week children will be Engineers, Biologists, Paleontologists, Geologists, Chemists, Astrologists and even Kitchen Scientists! We will go over the science behind magic, electricity, toys, magnets, weather, energy, animals and SO MUCH MORE!

FAQ
What is your refund policy?
A 15% processing fee will be applied to all refund requests prior to the 2nd class starting. Withdrawals done after the start of the second class is not subject to a refund. Refunds will not be issued for classes missed by the child. Refunds will take 7-14 business days to process.
+When do I pay?
Payment is required at the time of registration. Mad Science accepts checks or credit cards (over the phone, on the registration form or through our on-line registration system).
+What is your class cancellation policy?
We will follow the inclement weather and school closure policy of the school district in which we are instructing. We will attempt to schedule a make-up class, provided the cancelled class takes place at least one week before the start of the next program.
+What if a class does not run?
Mad Science programs that are registration-based need a minimum number to run. Most locations need at least 8-10 participants. In the event we do not enroll enough children, Mad Science will provide a full refund within 7-14 business days.
